Responsible Pharmacist

Job Purpose:
As part of Clicks Pharmacy operations, drive and ensure the delivery of high standards pharmaceutical care in accordance with Good Pharmacy Practice and all other legal requirements, dispensary operations outcomes, including management of the healthcare team, as well as the financial outcomes of the dispensary.

Job Objectives:
• Ensure and maintain high standards of pharmaceutical service and care.
• Ensure that scheduled substance and dispensary stock control happens within given legal guidelines and requirements.
• Achieve the dispensary financial performance outcomes.
• Ensure effective dispensary administration and management.
• Effective management of the Healthcare Team.
• Accountable for adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice, legislation and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Implementation of dispensary and company projects and business rules.

Experience and Education:
• B Pharm Degree
• 1 to 3 years experience as a Responsible pharmacist
• Management of retail dispensary operations, including staff, stock, implementation of SOPS, IT systems, chairing of meetings, reporting.
